The Mental Health and Well-being Foundation led by Dr Francis Acquah with funding from the Australia High Commission, Ghana has handed over a refurbished VIP Ward to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital. This edifice commissioned by the Australian High Commissioner H.E Andrew Barnes is to be used to isolate mentally challenged persons or staff who may contract COVID-19 in these trying times.
Truth is, the mental health and psychological well-being of each and everyone is critical for an improved healing process and integration into society after recovery.
