The Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) on behalf of national leadership, yesterday presented GHC 10,000. 00 cheque to one of its member at Kokofu General Hospital in Bekwai Municipality.
According to the PR Unit of the Association, the beneficiary was involved in a fatal accident last year and sustained various degree of injury that calls for urgent support from the association.
News gathered indicated that, the donation is borne out of the GRNMA Health Fund initiative to support members health and well-being.
The association is committed to maintaining the health and improving the general welfare of her members.The regional executives are therefore calling on all nurses within the Region to join hands with the new executives of the association to help fight the Covid 19 pandemic and also exhibit espirit de corps for promoting activities of the association. They expressed their sincere gratitude to all front line health workers and promise them their full support in situation of eventualities.
